Purpose

Use Links to cancel, update, or change a link that has been created using OLE.

Steps

To update a link,

1. Choose Links from the Edit menu, then select the object you want to change from the Links list box.
2. Select Automatic to have the links updated automatically.
   or
   Select Manual if you want to update the links manually.
3. Choose Close.

To break a link,

1. Choose Links from the Edit menu.
2. Select the link you want to break from the Links list box, then choose Break Link.
3. Choose Close.

To change an OLE link,

1. Choose Links from the Edit menu, select the object you want to change from the Links list box, then choose Change Source.
2. Select the filename you want to link to, then choose OK.
3. Choose Close.
