Use Row Subdivision to define several subrows within a limb row.
When splitting cells horizontally in a subdivided row you can choose to have
the splits set at a fixed position according to the subdivision.
Note: The subdivision itself does not split a cell. Use Split
Cell to apply a split to one or more cells of a limb row.
Steps
To subdivide a limb row,
In the Format Limbs dialog, choose the Row Subdivision tab.
Move the focus to the limb row you want to change in your
document or in the Staff Dialog.
Enter the number of subrows you want. You can have a maximum
of 5 subrows.
To change heights of the subrows, enter height values for
the individual subrows in the Row Heights box. or
In the View Subdivision Window drag a subrow marker to a new position.
Choose Apply.
To make subdivided rows visible, while editing your document,
Choose Options on the View menu, then choose
Subrows.
