Staff Dialog, Open Template

Purpose

Use Open Template to open a predefined staff template in the Staff Dialog.

Instead of creating a staff definition from scratch every time you insert a new staff, you can use staff templates. Especially when creating scores that require only some limb groups e.g. just legs, it is convenient to open a staff template that only contains leg limb groups.

You can also create your own templates by using the Save as Template command.

Steps

1. In the Staff Dialog choose Open Template from the File menu.
2. If necessary, select a drive and directory that contain the staff template file you want to open.
3. Select a staff template file.
4. Choose OK.
