Page Properties, Page Style

Purpose

Use Page Style to view or change the page format for your document.

Steps

  1. In the Page Properties dialog, choose the Page Style tab to view the page size and margins for the current page.

    Available page styles are listed in the styles box.

  2. To choose a different page style for the current page,
    select another page style from the available styles, then choose Apply.

To change the properties of the current page style,
right-click the current style in the style list, then choose Edit Page Style. The Edit Page Style dialog appears, where you can change the style properties, page size, margins and settings for headers and footers. After you close this dialog with OK, the changes will be applied to all pages associated with the changed page style.

To create a new page style,
right-click a style entry in the page style list, the choose New Page Style. The New Page Style dialog appears. The newly created style will inherit the settings for page size and margins from the selected existing style, which my be overriden in the new style. After setting all the styles properties, choose OK. The style will now appear in the style list box, and it may be applied to pages, as described above.
