Staff Properties, Font

Purpose

Use Staff Font to change the EW symbol fonts for a staff.

All EW Symbols will be displayed using the chosen symbol font.

Note: Fonts for displaying text, like e.g. limb names, are changed through Text Properties.

Steps

1. To view the font settings for a staff, choose the Font tab in the Staff Properties dialog.

   In addition to the settings for the current EW symbol font, the current font used for displaying limb names, is shown.

2. To change the font settings for a staff, then choose Edit Staff Font.
   The Font Dialog appears.
3. Choose an EW Font, style and size.
4. To use the chosen EW Symbol font as default symbol font for new documents, choose Set as Default EW Symbol Font.
5. Choose to which areas of the document the new settings are to apply:
   • Current Staff.
     The new font will be displayed in the current staff only.
   • Current Staff and Forward.
     The font will be applied from the current staff up to the end of the document.
   • Selected Staffs.
     This option is only available if staffs were selected.
   • Document.
     Changes will be applied to all staffs within the document.
