Position Symbols

Symbol Properties, Position tab

Purpose

Use Position Symbols to advance the cursor position in a cell to the right, usually to obtain a larger space between two symbols.

Steps

1. In the Symbol Properties dialog choose the Position tab.
2. To move to an absolute position (as a percentage of the cell's width),
   Check the Advance To check box and type the desired percentage value in edit field on the right.

   To move to the right relatively to the current cursor position,
   Check the Advance By check box and type the desired number of spacing units in the edit field on the right.

   One spacing unit is the normal white space between two adjacent simple symbols. The actual width is font dependent.

3. Chosse Apply
