Align Symbol

Symbol Properties, Align

Purpose

Use Align to align symbols in a cell vertically or horizontally.

To modify the alignment of single symbol items in compound symbols, choose the More button to activate the advanced alignment options.

Steps

1. In the Symbol Properties dialog choose the Align tab.
2. Use the mouse or the arrow keys to select a symbol or a symbol item you want to align.
3. To align the selected symbol horizontally or vertically,
   choose one of the options in Align Symbols Horizontal or Vertical drop-down lists.

Note: The default alignment for symbols is Left and Bottom.

Note: Vertical alignment of a symbol is relative to its preceding symbol, unless it is the first symbol in the cell or a subdivision of the cell.

4. Choose Apply.
