Cut

Edit, Cut

Purpose

Use Cut to move selected symbols or text.
Once you have cut information you can paste it to another location in the current document, in another document or in another application, until you exit windows.

Steps

  1. Select the symbols or cells you want to move.
  2. Choose Cut from the Edit menu.

    If you have selected a number of cells rather than just symbols within one cell, you are prompted whether to remove only the symbols from the current location or to delete the selected columns.
