Size Symbol

Symbol Properties, Size tab

Purpose

Use Size to change the scaling factor for one or more symbols to make the them fit better into their cells.
Note: The basic size of symbols in a staff is determined by the chosen font and its size. In addition Size enables you to apply different scaling factors for width and height to single symbols.

To modify the size of single symbol items in compound symbols, choose the More button to activate the advanced size options.

Steps

To specify scaling factors for symbols,

1. In the Symbol Properties dialog choose the Size tab.
2. Select one or more symbols.
3. Specify scaling factors for width and height values.
4. Choose Apply.
