Creating Compound Symbols using Build Symbols is easy, but in some rare cases
the available commands are not sufficient to create all the desired combinations
of symbol items and parentheses or brackets.
Symbol Script allows you to edit the symbol definition as text using a special
Symbol Script Syntax.
Steps
In the Build Symbols dialog, choose Script. or
In the Edit Symbol Templates dialog, choose the Script button to the left
of the edit window.
Edit the script by typing the appropriate commands. You
can also cut, copy and paste text using the dialog's button bar and insert
script commands as well as simple symbol names
by choosing the Command and Symbol buttons, respectively.
Choose Compile to translate the script to the actual symbol.
If the script cannot be translated due to a syntax error, you will receive
an error message.
