Use Document Properties to define general properties and settings
for your document.
Steps
Choose Document Properties from the File menu.
Choose one of the available tabs:
Description:
The description field may be used to enter any written text to be saved
with your document.
Also, there are several predefined commands to define values of certain
fields, which may be entered in the
description field.
Display Settings:
Allow to define the size of parentheses, which enclose many of EWMN's
compound symbols. Most of EW Notator's symbols
will size their parentheses and brackets automatically, according to these
settings.
Language:
The language feature allows to define a document language. This setting
will mainly affect the appearance of limb
names associated with a staff. Some limb name formatting options require
EW Notator to identify the words "Right" and "Left"
used in your document. If your document is in a language other than English,
you can define your translations for "Right" and "Left"
here.
Note for the "Right + Name" and "Left + Name"
fields: Use the place holder "%s" to define the insertion
point for the actual limb name.
