Size Symbol Advanced

Use Size Symbol Advanced to change the scaling factor for symbol items.

By default many of the predefined symbol templates contain different scaling factors for symbol items. Numbers appearing on top of each other, e.g. like in a position symbol, lead to very large symbols in relation to symbols consisting of only one symbol item. Therefore these numbers are scaled to a height value of only 80% to produce a more harmonious appearance of the score.

Usually you should apply these options to symbol templates or to either create or adapt forms of compound symbols. Once you have created your symbol templates, store them in the User Symbols bar or even modify the templates in the Compound Symbols bar.

You should rarely need to apply these options directly to symbols in the staff.
