Limb Group Options

Formats, Limb Group Options

Purpose

Use Limb Group Options to hide the lines of a group's grid and associate a performer name with a limb group. Assigning limb groups to different performers allows you to have multiple groups under the same name without violating the limb naming guidelines.

Steps

  1. In the Format Limbs dialog choose the Limb Group Options tab.
  2. Select the limb rows you want to format in your document or in the Staff Dialog.
  3. To hide the lines of a group's grid,
uncheck the Lines Visible check box.

Note: Cell contents including bar lines will always display. Using this feature you can create auxiliary rows (e.g. a time row) above or below a staff.

  4. To associate a performer name with the group,
choose a name from the Associate Performer list, or type a performer name of your choide.
  5. Choose Apply.
